Evangeline Giron, the inspiring figure gracing the front cover of a Filipino-American magazine, has become a beacon of hope for many. Despite facing immense challenges, her vibrant spirit shines through. Diagnosed with the rare condition transverse myelitis, affecting only 1 in 5 million people in the US in 2013, she found herself paralyzed from the waist down due to inflammation in her whole thoracic spine. It's crucial to clarify that her paralysis wasn't caused by systemic lupus, which she's had since 2008, a common misconception.

Though physically restricted, Evangeline remains an essential part of her family business, Evangeline Giron, Inc., now under the management of her daughter, Tatianna, as a principal consultant. However, in early 2023, another rare illness, diffused hydrosyringomyelia of cervical spine, left her bedridden with quadriparesis, weakening all four extremities. Despite these challenges, her resilience continues to inspire those who hear her story.

Unable to write or type anymore, Evangeline found an innovative solution to maintain her role as principal consultant. Since she adapted to conducting meetings via Zoom already when the pandemic broke, she continues to do so. This time, she has two employees remotely assisting her by operating the computer, while she watches at the computer screen. This forward-thinking approach not only allowed her to stay actively involved in her work but also highlighted the importance of inclusivity and accommodation in the professional world.

Evangeline is not one to remain stagnant; she continues to give her all. Nowadays, her days are filled with endless reading as she just started the initial stages of writing her own book. Additionally, she's sharing her expertise through her YouTube vlog, "Tax by Evangeline Giron," , where she discusses tax-related topics. Furthermore, she's gearing up to launch her own blog, "Tax Pro Insights," and venture into the world of ecommerce. For relaxation, her adorable Shih Tzu poodle, Romeo, keeps her company on her bed during the day. In fact, she often feels like her days are too short to accomplish everything she sets her mind to.
